Having chosen your destination airfield, a route must be planned which takes into consideration the airspace, any NOTAM restrictions or danger areas along the flight path. Using the tools on this page, a route can be planned accurately and in a time efficient manner.

 

A useful tool in planning a route in the UK is SkyDemon Light.	Determine the upper winds along the route (select 'Show Wind Barbs' under the 'Layers' options)

 

With the route planned and the required fuel determined, the Mass and Balance can be checked along with the Weather and Notams.
